Parents of primary school pupils are being invited to a free online event that will help them support their children on the return to school.
This workshop entitled “School’s Back”, will take place at 7.30pm on Thursday, August 20th. Parents can register to attend by emailing ‘Workshop 20’ to events@planetyouth.ie.
“The workshop will be interactive and will allow parents to talk, in a facilitated environment, about the challenges they are currently facing and also what’s going well. Dr. Malie Coyne will be there to provide support and guidance to parents, and she’ll also be doing a feedback video that we’ll put online” said Emmet Major.
“This evening has been specifically developed for the parents of national school children, there’s still a lot of unknowns facing them and their parents so we want to discuss some of that”.
Parents interested in attending can register by email and will receive a video-conferencing link.
